Jordan Zinovich is a poet and historian — a member of the Autonomedia Collective, as well as a member-at-large of the Amsterdam Balloon Company and Culturele Vrijhaven Ruigoord, and a friend of Christiania. Over the past few years his research has focused on Holland’s Provo movement and the cultural strategies that emerged in Northern Europe during the late ‘60s and early ‘70s. His presentation at the Center for Place, Culture and Politics will concentrate on Copenhagen’s notorious Christiania Commune, and will include film footage and recent reportage from Copenhagen.
