Press the USFS to retain endangered species protectionForest Friend writes: "Click on the links below to learn more and send a free web-fax urging the U.S. Forest Service not to suspend habitat protection rules for the Mexican spotted owl and Northern goshawk in Arizona and New Mexico. The Forest Service wants to drop the protections in order to increase logging within the "wildland-urban interface." Fire protection must go hand in hand with endangered species protection, however, not become an excuse to suspend environmental regulations.
