Women's Liberation Birth Control Project Meeting*

Monday May 8th from 6:30-8:30 PM

Join us to plan local and national initiatives to force the FDA to put the Morning-After Pill over-the-counter, like it is in 38 other countries around the world.
Why now? Because the FDA is on the defensive, feeling the heat — and a strong, organized women's liberation movement needs to continue to pile on the pressure to win this advance for our freedom!

Several members of the Birth Control Project are plaintiffs in a landmark lawsuit against the FDA that charges the agency with discriminating against women and failing to follow normal agency procedures in their handling of the Morning-After Pill Application. We will update the group with exciting new developments, including the recent depositions of high-ranking FDA officials.

On May 8th we will move forward in mobilizing for a national action at FDA headquarters in the fall. Groups from across the country will be coordinating with us to make this rally and direct action a huge success. We are also organizing a Panel at NYU to take place on June 22nd.

Join us to find out how you can get involved.
